Tara was born in mid-march 2005, we got her late in April when she was 6 weeks old. We travelled to Preston to buy her after seeing her advertised on a classifieds website. She is half Persian, So very fluffy!
We already had Willow when we got Tara, so she had a surrogate “mum” ready for her. She soon settled into her new home.
She is a lot like “Garfield” in her ways, a little comedian, so sometimes gets called this, and she answers to it as well.
She is a lovely, cuddly cat. She likes nothing more than to snuggle up in bed.
She loves to be pampered, by this we mean a bubble bath and a good grooming, yes we know this sounds strange for a cat, but that’s Tara for you - the untypical cat - actually she thinks she is a dog!
We know this as she will beg for treats, pinches the dogs bones, and you can be assured of seeing Tara with her head in the dogs feeding bowls.
Another little quirk of Tara’s is to drink from the loo. You can see her fluffy bum and tail sticking up from the loo, just before she slips in much to her disgust giving the loudest disgruntled meow ever.
The only anoying thing about Tara is that she wakes us up in the night grooming our hair.
Tara loves being outside in the garden and when she comes in she always gives a loud "MEOW" to let us know she's home, and if we call out to her to let her know where we are she always comes running for a fuss and a treat.
When its windy and the leaves are blowing around outside she catches them and brings them in as presants.
She loves chasing flys round the house, she doesnt care what she knocks over or breaks as long as she gets the fly. were suprised we have any blinds left hanging up the way she swings off them to get fly anoying flying things.
